Research Activity
Students are actively participated in the various research program organized by IPC and other institutes and present posters at different conferences, seminars etc. In the year 2009-10, total 40 (research & review) papers were presented by the students of SemIII, TY, and Final year B. Pharm.
Sports
Students are actively participated during the Pharma IPL 20-20 of the college. Various facilities are available for the outdoor games like cricket and indoor games like chess, table tennis etc.
Co-curricular Activity
Students are actively participated in the various co-curricular activities like quiz competition, elocution competition etc. held by the different organizations.
Cultural Activity
Students are actively participated in the different cultural programmes organized during the annual day celebration of the college. Over and above celebration of Independence Day, Republic Day and Youth Day are done with great enthusiasm by the students.
GATE / GRE / TOEFL
Faculties are guiding students to give competitive exams like GATE / GRE / TOEFL.

19th March 2009	Farewell cum Felicitation	Farewell cum Felicitation of GATE 2009 qualified students.
4th Aug 2009	Felicitation	“Felicitation of toppers of toppers of saurashtra university”, organized by IPA-Rajkot Branch, held at S. J. Thakkar Pharmacy College.
4th Aug 2009	Sports	Devendra Mishra, (T. Y. B. Pharm) has been participated in “Inter college swimming competition”, held at M. N. Virani Science College, Rajkot.
5th Sept 2009	Swine Flu Awareness Rally	All the students of our participated in the “Swine Flu Awareness Rally” which covered many areas of the Rajkot and distributed pamphlets.
9th Sept 2009	Blood Donation Camp	Various staff members and students of the college donated the blood on this donation camp.
12th to 13th Sept 2009	Pharma Vision 2020	State level paper presentation competition “PHARMA VISION -2020” in association with ABVP, at S. J. Thakkar Pharmacy College. Where 33 students of our college were participated.
3rd Oct 2009	Hindi Day Celebration	On ‘Hindi Day’ an elocution competition was arranged at S. J. Thakkar Pharmacy College. Total six students were participated. The name of the students who won the price are: 1st : Desai Akta (Sem-III) 2nd: Dabhi Jayesh (Sem-III) 3rd: Kanani Riddhi (Sem-I)
13th to 14th Nov 2009	Pharmagujfest 2009	This event was organized at S. K. Patel College of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, Ganpat University, Kherva. Ten students of T. Y. B. Pharm were participated in various competitions like Cultural, Arts and Educational.
15th to 21st Nov 2009	National Pharmacy Week	All the students of our college visited number of schools running 11th and 12th science and delivered presentation on topic of ‘Make Pharmacy Your Career’. They have sensitized more than 1000 school students to pharmacy profession.
25th Nov 2009	Navratri Celebration	Navratri celebration was arranged at S. J. Thakkar Pharmacy College. Where all the students of the college participated. The name of the students who won the price are: Best Performance(Male): Ronak Gokani Best Dressing (Male): Miraj Ahiya Best Performance(Female): Kalyani Vyas Best Dressing (Female): Rachita Patel Complementry Price: Jay Thakkar
10th to 12th Dec 2009	IPSCON ‘09	Three students of M. Pharm (Sem-I) of our college presented a poster at IPSCON ’09 organized by NRIADD and Indian Pharmaceutical Society, Kolkata
11th to 13th Dec 2009	IPC 2009	Total 12 students of Final Year B. Pharm were presented poster at 61st Indian Pharmaceutical Congress, held at Nirma University, Ahmedabad.
5th to 6th Feb 2010	Pharmafest ’10	Maulik Makadia and Maulik Kachhela of T. Y. B. Pharm participated in Quize Competition at Pharmafest ’10 Organized by Baroda College of Pharmacy & Parul Institute of Pharmacy.
10th to 13th Feb 2010	IPL 2010	Our college in association with IPA-Rajkot Branch organized an “Inter Pharma League 2010” and students of different pharmacy colleges of saurashtra region were participated in various events like Sports, Arts and Cultural.
11th Mar 2010	Carrier Counselling	The seminar was organized with the help of “Career Launcher” of Rajkot branch and “Steven business school” of Ahmadabad.

31st May 2010	Campus Interview	Campus Interview was held at our college by Alembic Ltd, Baroda. In these interview students of M. Pharm, B. Pharm and D. Pharm participated.
4th to 7th Aug 2010	Celebration of Swarnim Jayanti of Gujarat	Celebration of "Sankalp Din" on 4th August 2010. Celebration of "My Favourite Book" on 6th August 2010. On this day Dr. Navin Sheth shared information of his favourite book. Celebration of "Samay Daan" on 7th August 2010.
15th Aug 2010	Independence day Celebration	Independence day was celebrated on college campus, during celebration informative enthusiastic speech was given by trustee Shri Dineshbhai Thakkar and Principal Dr. Manish Rachh.
14th Oct 2010	Guest Lecture by Mr. Hiranmay Mohanti	Guest lecture on “Techpedia: A tool to connect Institute and Industry”, delivered by Mr. Hiranmay Mohanti, founder of webportal techpedia.in. All the student of M. Pharm and faculty were remain present in this lecture.
30th Oct 2010	Guest Lecture by Dr. Sunil Trivedi	Guest Lecture on “Recent Advances in Cancer Research” delivered by Dr. Sunil Trivedi. All the students of M. Pharma and faculty members were remain present in this lecture.
14th to 16th Dec 2010	43rd IPS 2010, Hyderabad	Three posters were presented by students of M. Pharm Sem-I during Indian Pharmacological Society 2010, Hyderabad.
17th to 19th Dec 2010	62nd IPC 2010 Manipal	Six posters were presented by fourth year students during the Indian Pharmaceutical Congress 2010 at Manipal.
12th Jan 2011	National Youth Day Celebration	Students of our collage celebrated national youth day by participating in different competitions like Instant speech, Elocution competition and drama.
26th Jan 2011	62nd Republic Day Celebration	Celebration of 62nd republic day was done by flag ceremony and student competitions. Swami shri Parmatmanandji was the chief guest. Winners of different competitions like elocution competition, instant speech, singing competition, quiz, debate and drama were awarded by prices.
14th to 15th Feb 2011	Sports Carnival 2011	Our college has celebrated sports day during 14th to 15th Feb 2011 in which students actively participated in the various sports events like cricket, volleyball, chess, kabaddi, carom, 1 minute show, badminton, running race etc. The winners were awarded with prices and certificate.
