Thalassemia Testing: (14th Oct 2011, Friday)
Our college has successfully organized Thalassemia Testing under “Thalassemia Prevention Program” initiated by Gujarat Technological University in association with Indian Red Cross Society, Ahmedabad on 14th Oct 2011, Friday. Total 96 newly admitted students of B. Pharm and M. Pharm were tested under this program. During the testing counselling about thalassemia was done by means of presentation followed by pamphlets distribution.

The Vivekananda Express Train showing the life, teaching and works of Swami Vivekananda rolled in to Rajkot Railway Station on 31st Aug 2011, Wednesday. B. Pharm and M. Pharm students of our college visited the same and got inspired.

Sports Carnival (Feb 2011)
Our college celebrated sports day during 14-15th Feb 2011 in which students actively participated in various sports events like cricket, volleyball, chess, kabaddi, carom, one minute show, badminton, running race etc. Winners were awarded with prizes and certificates.

Celebration of republic day was done by flag ceremony and student competitions. Swami shri Parmatmanandji was the chief guest. Winners of different competitions like elocution, instant speech, singing, quiz, debate and drama were awarded by prizes.

Campus Interview (Alembic Ltd, Baroda)
S. J. Thakkar Pharmacy College has organized campus interview by Alembic Ltd, Baroda on 31st May 2010, Monday. This was first campus interview organized in any pharmacy colleges of saurashtra. Total 57 students of B. Pharm, 11 students of M. Pharm and 17 students of D. Pharm were appeared for interview.
